Many events take place in St Merryn throughout the year and the village has an outstanding reputation for raising money much of which is for local concerns such as the Senior Citizens Christmas Party, defibrulator provision and upkeep and our lovely Christmas lights. Charities are also supported including The Royal British Legion and the RNLI.
A number of activities also take place, zumba, table tennis, regular craft fairs, a weekly Red Cross coffee morning and drop in and bingos to name a few. The village also has a thriving and successful football team.
Keep a look out for posters in local business or on boards at the crossroads.
