EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST INVITED:
St Merryn Parish Council is considering appointing an independent cleaner for the Public Convenience situated in Harlyn Road.
The cleaner would be self-employed and responsible for their own PAYE and National Insurance if appropriate. The ideal applicant must be flexible, have good time management skills and excellent attention to detail, ensuring that duties are conducted in a safe and appropriate manner an adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures. Consumables will be supplied by the Parish Council.
Hours to be discussed but no more than 1 hour per day. Currently, the schedule varies with daily visits in high season and less frequent visits in the Winter, however the schedule is under review and will be discussed at interview.
Payment for duties undertaken will be monthly with the submission of a time sheet and invoice to the Clerk to be approved at the monthly Parish Council meeting and made by BACS
The post will commence 1 April 2024.
The rate of pay to be decided but, no lower than the minimum living wage.
